Every founder is not multifaceted to tackle multiple aspects of a business. So they have to add complementary skills to the company. A winning team reflects creativity, grit, commercial excellence, strong business sense and structure. The hard part is to build this winning team. While someone may look good on paper and with good references, qualifications if they are truly a fit to the team is key. Identify the doers from the sayers. Shortlist the candidate considering if they are equally passionate about what they are going to do.
